You don’t have to navigate the highs and lows alone.

My name is Aimee Chouinard. I am a therapist holding both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in psychology. A tragic event in my 20s taught me that no one is meant to carry a major crisis alone. I learned firsthand that having support isn’t just helpful—it’s essential. My goal is to ensure every client—regardless of diagnosis—feels truly seen and heard in an inclusive, safe environment.

Taking the step to seek support requires immense courage, especially when you are feeling scared, alone, or overwhelmed by your own emotions​. I honour that strength.

I specialize in helping individuals find stability amidst the storm. My practice is dedicated to navigating complex emotional landscapes, specifically:

  • Bipolar Disorder: Managing mood swings and quieting racing thoughts.
  • Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD): Addressing fears of abandonment and navigating relationship instability.
  • Anxiety & Emotional Overwhelm: Helping you find your footing when feelings become too much.

My primary goal is for you to feel immediately supported, contained, and grounded. Our sessions are a deep collaboration focused entirely on you. I don’t just listen; I provide individualized tools and strategies to help you feel more empowered and capable of gaining control over your life.
